Invited commentary on...Cognitive-behavioural therapy for severe and recurrent bipolar disorders.Lam D Clinical Psychology, University of Hull, Hertford Building, University of Hull, Hull HU6 7RX, UK. d.lam@hull.ac.uk The study by Scott et al is at odds with other published studies. Their design of a mixed group of relatively well or acutely ill bipolar patients who may or may not be on medication leads to difficulties in interpreting the results.
